When the Apple iPhone 4S was recently released, it featured many improvements upon the previous iPhone 4. One of these enhancements was a feature known as Siri. Siri is basically like having your own personal assistance living inside of your mobile phone. It can perform a variety of function for you much like a personal assistant would. Many wonder if this revolutionary feature will find its way onto the iPhone 4.
In fact, one customer went so far as to suggest to Apple that Siri should be added to their previous operating systems as a paid upgrade. Apple responded to the suggestion with the news that Apple had no plans to get their other operating systems to be compatible with Siri. This admonition seems to be counter to what some other sources are reporting. Some claim Apple is already in the midst of testing Siri on the iPhone 4. They’ve added special support to try to facilitate this. It seemed like most of the limitations of using Siri on the iPhone 4 weren’t due to the iPhone 4’s internal hardware but the slow moving server connections with the 4th iPhone. Therefore, this leads many to believe that Siri could in fact work on some older iPhone models. Others refute this by stating that Siri needs a dual core processor and the special chip found within the iPhone 4S.
Older models do not have these features which would make Siri unable to function. That leaves people to wonder Apple’s hesitancy to add Siri to older iPhones along with the new iphone. The most logical conclusion would be for commercial reasons. Siri is one of the major changes in the iPhone 4 along with a better camera and improved processor. By offering Siri to older models of the iPhone, it limits business. Fewer consumers will want to upgrade their phones to get the new Siri technology.

Apple is a company that is worldwide recognized for the revolutionary improvements brought by every generation of devices. As the iPhone 5 is about to be released, and its mysteries are almost completely discovered, people are already thinking about the future iPhone 6.
Although we are only talking about a rumor and an extraterrestrial concept, Apple is already working at the case for the iPhone 6 that will be released sometimes in the summer of 2012. It seems like the case of the phone will be the battery itself. What would this mean? Maybe the phone will charge itself using solar energy, or it could be charged using magnetic fields, not the old fashioned plug. One thing is certain: the iPhone 6 will weight less and will also be easy to carry. Read the rest of this entry

Although the fifth generation of iPhone is still not released, it seems like people are already asking about the iPhone 6. Is it going to be revolutionary? What are the improvements? The questions of the fans are legitimate: although the iPad released in 2010 was successful, some people complained about the poor number of improvements brought by Apple for this device. The iPhone 5 seems like it will only bring a few improvements to the concept, therefore the iPhone 6 is expected to make the difference.
Apple has to come up with something big for the iPhone 6. The offensive of the Samsung Galaxy phones and the newest Android Phones by Google is strong, and Steve Jobs stated this aspect many times. However, this competition is beneficial for us, as we will surely benefit from better and faster phones and tablets. Read the rest of this entry
